	Casa das Oleanders is a two bedroom older type village house located on the Parque da Floresta Golf & Leisure Resort. The house enjoys magnificent, uninterrupted views over the golf course and out over the countryside to the coast and is only 25 metres from the Golf Reception, the O Parque Restaurant. The Spa, Gymnasium and Health & Beauty Complex are literally two minutes walking distance away. Guests have automatic free access to the outdoor pools and sun terrace and enjoy a 40% discount on the golf green fees.

The Accommodation

The house has been tastefully furnished to a high standard of comfort. From the small hallway one descends three steps to the living / dining room, which has two deep sofas, a dining table and chairs, television, DVD and Radio / C.D player. There is a log burner for cooler evenings - which makes this house eminently suitable for that long winter holiday. Two sets of large patio doors lead out on to the terrace, which is equipped with sun beds and a table and chairs for outdoor dining - or just sitting with a glass of wine and enjoying the magnificent view.

The Kitchen,

To the left of the hallway, is fully fitted and equipped with a double-drainer sink, gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and a dishwasher.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

To the right of the hallway are the two bedrooms, the principal one of which has an en-suite shower room; both bedrooms are furnished with two single beds and have fitted wardrobes.

Both bedrooms have new double glazed white windows which have also been fitted with integral mosquito netting for guests comfort.

There is a further recently updated full bathroom with an integral shower and heated towel rail.

Other Information

All linen and towels are provided, including pool towels.

Maid service once a week with a towel change and a mid term clean and linen change for two weekly lets is included in the rental price.

The villa has a small safe for the convenience of guests.

A car is advisable and there is car parking space near to the house

Please telephone or email to confirm availability. Change over days are flexible and we will always try to fit in with guests requirements. A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking and the balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.

Outside of peak season (period D) rentals can be made for shorter periods of 3 or more days at a daily rate from £45.

The Resort and Local Amenities


Resort Pool with Spa and Gymnasium	Driving Range	Childrens Play Area

Parque da Floresta has many other attractions besides the 18 hole championship golf course, for which guests staying at the villa are entitled to a concessionary 40% discount on the green fees. There are two bowling greens, four tennis courts, an outdoor heated pool, childrens' pool and gymnasium also available, all at local cost.

Tennis: A resident coach will give group or individual tennis lessons and there is a hotly contested weekly competition for different age groups of children.

The Childrens Fun club, has supervised activities for all ages and is available to the children of guests during the summer and daily or weekly tickets can be bought.

The Spa offers a wide variety of Health and Beauty treatments for those who fancy a spot of pampering, including half day or whole day packages if you really want to push the boat out and have a top to toe treatment.

Restaurants:- there are several restaurants on the resort providing a variety of choice, from Á La Carte to snacks at the Spike Bar, plus the Italian restaurant has a "takeaway" option. There are also several good restaurants in the village of Budens, a 2 minute car ride away.

Horse Riding is available at the nearby Tiffany's Riding stable near the village of Almadena where they cater for all levels of ability.

Supermarkets and Petrol Stations:- There is a modern supermarket and petrol station, (Ecomarché) in the nearby village of Budens, and fresh bread is available there every morning. Both the supermarket and the petrol station are open seven days a week until late. Several larger supermarkets can be found in Lagos.

Other Places to Visit

The Resort is an ideal base for a holiday being equidistant from the West Coast with it's rugged beaches and the tourist resorts of Salema, Praia da Luz and Lagos. The "city" of Lagos, with its spectacular Marina from which you can take boat trips and try your hand at paragliding and other water sports, is 10 kms. away. There are a wide variety of restaurants and you can eat food from a different country every night if you so wish - Chinese, Brazilian, Italian, Vietnamese, Portuguese, French cuisine are all to be found in Lagos. During August the shops stay open until midnight and there is street entertainment and dancing in the square. Going the other way is the old town of Sagres and Cape Saint Vincent with it's spectacular lighthouse Many of the voyages of discovery were planned at Prince Henry the Navigator's fort and there is now a museum there depicting those voyage

Getting There

The nearest international airport is Faro and flights arrive from most British airports every day during the summer. Hire cars can be collected outside the airport building and the journey from Faro to Parque da Floresta takes 45 minutes along the A22 motorway to Lagos and from there on the EN 125 to the resort.
