Quinta do Montinho is a development of luxury village houses and villas situated on the outskirts of Budens and is part of the Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort in the West Algarve. The houses have been built in tiered rows on the hillside looking down onto the village below and has a communal swimming pool and childrens paddling pool, set in landscaped gardens with changing rooms and plenty of sun loungers on which to relax.

 The village is well within walking distance, ( uphill coming back ! ) and has several excellent restaurants and a modern supermarket and petrol station which is open seven days a week until late. There are many safe and secluded beaches along the coast and the nearest of these is Boca do Rio, beautiful but with no facilities and Salema, which has a safe beach with beach bars and restaurants. The excellent facilities at Parque da Floresta are just 2 kms. away and there is now a road linking the two resorts. Guests staying at Quinta do Montinho are entitled to a 30% discount on green fees.

Casa Abbie is situated on the first row of the development and has an uninterrupted view over the pool and the surrounding countryside. As the houses have been built on the hillside the living room and kitchen are on the first floor and a staircase leads down to the two bedrooms and bathrooms.

The house has a small hallway, with a cloakroom off to the right and the kitchen to the left, with the spacious living / dining room straight ahead. The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas, table and dining chairs and has digital satellite TV, a video and mini stereo system. There is also a wood burner and movable radiators, which make this house ideal for lets all year round. Patio doors lead out on to a small terrace which has a table and chairs for outside dining and a built in barbecue.

The kitchen, which is fully fitted with white modern units,  is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, toaster, microwave, fridge / freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. An iron and ironing board are also provided.

The master bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes with sliding mirrored doors and has an en-suite full bathroom - with a jacuzzi bath.
Bedroom 2 also has two single beds, fitted wardrobes and patio doors leading out on to the small lawned garden area. There is a further large full bathroom, with an integral shower over the bath, to service this bedroom.

Maid service twice a week and a linen change at the end of the week are included in the rental price.

Living room

The nearest international airport is Faro and flights arrive from most British airports every day during the summer. Hire cars can be collected outside the airport building and the journey from Faro to Parque da Floresta takes 45 minutes along the A22 motorway to Lagos and from there on the EN 125 to the resort.
